What exactly do you mean? Are you sure it's not the steering wheel that's off-center?

I am spoofing an earlier topic because "off-center" is relative. True, the center of the wheel is offset from the center of the instrument cluster. Or is the instrument cluster is offset from the steering wheel?

Who's to say which is the reference?

I have, in the past, driven many cars (can't remember them by name) where the instruments and the wheel were not in line.

It would be my guess that the plane of the wheel is not perpendicular to the imaginary front-rear center plane of the car. Perhaps some other component interfered with the steering column and the column took the hit.

I always felt that the steering wheel of my 07 was not oriented to centre, at least from my natural sitting postion. I seemed to be sitting slightly right of centre ................... must be my political leaning Baaaaa!!

Use torx T-10 to unscrew two screws holding it, and reajust the instrument cluster. It happened to mine, and I fixed it in a few minutes. Same hold true for CID.

You are in a queue, please wait....

That's the 3rd theory, the 2nd I heard earlier today was that the seat isn't in straight.....
