then they worked for a few seconds and then been like this since.
this is how the digital bit looks at the moment

the digital bit still works and shows all normal data.
on the i drive it shows the mpg , average speed but not showing fuel left at all.
can you help.
parked up

I have sent it off to BBA reman who are useless and have taken a week to tell me they cant test it so its in the research lab for them to look at which could take weeks.
anyway
can i put another set in mine from a breakers car?
anyone know who else can fix them?
is there anywhere to buy a new one cheaper than BMW direct.

My Ride: Many BMW's
i'm not very expert ,but I advise you to do some basic check up like : 1- instrument cluster test ( by accessing the hidden menu ) 2- check the fuse box for any burned fuse , 3- remove the battery cable and wait for a few minutes , sometimes something stock and need to restart ..
good luck ,, keep us update and hope its not a major problem

Ola all.
Well
It's not looking good. Bba reman who sort clocks couldn't test the e60 clocks so don't use them.
I have one more place to try. I've tried as above so thanks guys. I have put a second hand Clock from an auto n all the dials work it just kicks off with warnings about gearbox.
I'll update u after I get back from my charity cycle ride.
Cheers all.
