Well BMW has the wonderful new High end stereo system the new Individual Audio System. According to the 2008 ordering guide option 752 Individual system is not even listed. The only option listed in regards to stereo is option 677 Premium Hifi system, which is probably Logic 7. Does anyone know any other info on this?

Peace

Figures....we always get shafted.

But i thought premium hifi was one step below L7 for ROW owners, and is equivalent to the standard system in the USA.

Premium hifi is the just new name for the L7 option. And before you think about how "shafted" we get in the States, you may want to take a look at what we're paying for our BMWs vs what the ROW pays.

We get shafted on options. But on prices we do just great.

another available question is: When will you change the quality of your diesel fuel? So BMW can start selling cars with stronger and less fuel addicted engines

Regarding diesel fuel...at the moment, the US is in the second year of a 4-year program to make less sulfurous diesel fuel available everywhere. From 2006 to the end of 2009, a mix of 80% 15PPM (parts per million) and 20% 500PPM low sulfur fuel is being sold in the US. Starting on January 2010, 100% 15PPM diesel will be available everywhere, and will be the only diesel product sold for highway usage (the old stuff will hang on for a few more years in the locomotive and marine applications). In theory, BMW could sell the cars here now. I think the NE states (New York, MA, CT) and CA have more strict requirements, thus making it harder to get the cars certified. I believe this changes in 2008.
