I'm just posting this to see if anyone else has experienced this or has a potential solution short of replacing the indicator stalk. I've had a rattling noise from my dash I finally found the indicator stalk to be the culprit, in particular the "BC" button. BMW service seems to work wonders with velcro strips to eliminate rubbing and rattling noises...I wonder if that would help here???

I've used self-stick felt or foam sheet material works wonders to dampen the noises that occur between adjoining hard-plastic parts. You can buy a sheet (8"x11") at most craft stores for about one dollar. They come in various basic colors (black, tan, white) to hide the fix nicely!

Hi outrageous,
I had the same problem with the info buttons on the left stalk. I fixed it with a tiny piece of blu-tak (as it's called in the UK) rolled up into a sausage and placed between the buttons and the stalk. Worked fine for me.
