Default Independent BMW shop in Montgomery County, MD

Hello All,

I want to take my car to an independent BMW shop instead of the Stealer. Any recommendation in MoCo MD?

Issues:
- Mechatronics Issue or Transmission
- Check Engine Light: Bank 2 Knock Sensor Low Voltage

Thanks!

I have tried a few Indy shops in the DMV area. Beamerauto in Clinton, Md is a good Indy shop. The owner was a certified BMW mechanic at Passport BMW and is very knowledgable along with the folks that work for him. Good work and fair prices...way below dealership costs. I have also used Martin Motorsports in Alexandria, Va. Again, pretty fair shop and I was satisfied with the work performed there. They replaced my water pump and thermostat recently. Good luck!
