Couple days ago I got this massage "Increased Emissions" I went to the dealer and the dealer told me that it's a bad thermostat. Last Thursday the dealer changed my thermostat and today I got the same massage again "Increased Emissions " Is anybody ever had this problem???

I do not understand what the thermostat has to do with Emissions?

It only regulates the cooling systems temperature.

I got the same CEL message 3 days ago. Got fixed by dealer yesterday.
I did not get to see my service advisor when I picked the car, but this is what noted on the service record
"Fault Code 2883 - Program DME and Other Modules including CAS to new sofware levels changed"

It was covered under warranty.
My car is 2005 with 11000 miles.

Hope this helps.

i just had same problem,i noticed no difference in performance, took it to dealer, they kept it for 1 day, found nothing wrong with the car and reset it-let's see what will happen.Try searching "increased emissions" on this forum,i found couple of threads-as i understand it may mean something significant, but most of the time it is nothing...

Huan42 I recently upgrade my software to cip 19.2, I wonder if the upgrade has something to do with it.

I recently had this issue, took it to the dealership and they found that the care was running thin - not getting enough air/gas mixture. It was a bad sensor that had to be replaced.

i had that problem last week,i took it in to the dealer and they told me i was driving low on gas.i told them r u stupid i never let it go below a 1/4 tank, but any ways they just resetted the fault and told me they couldn't find anything wrong. The next day it starts doing that again,so i bring it back. Now my car's at the dealer waiting a new set of valves.

I got this warning message at least a couple of times... My car is at the dealer at the moment (been there for the past 2 weeks) on other issues including this one. I'll update when I get my car back.
