It most likely nothing serious. Maybe you filled the car with gas cap off and engine running or the cap was loose. You could always bring it to your dealer and have them check the code.

This has happened to me twice. (see post in dealer service area) First time it was a CIP upgrade. Second time it was far more serious. The problem originated from one of the cylinders misfiring at startup. Hope this is not the case with you, as it took 3 weeks to fix.

Be thankful you are still under warranty.

I'm w/ zippers, had it happen once very early on and the dealer hooked to the computer to confirm gas cap was not tightened after a fill-up. Reset the computer and has not happened since...

I had the same thing happen on 3 different ocassions. 3 trips to the dealer, and last week they replaced the thermostat and temp gauge. Was not the gas cap in my case, the car still drove normally.

That's interesting. I assume they read some code from the car's computer that indicated the trouble w/ the thermostat and temp gauge.

Great... so seems like theres no real fix / solution to this...

Well gotta take it in now... the Emissions thing came on and will not go away now. always shows up when starting the car.
