Inaugural trip - FRONT window noise

My Ride: E61 Titanium-Grey, Leather Dakota Black, 525d, Steptronic, Navi Prof & TV, Voice Input, Panorama ceiling, Xenon with dir, etc
Hi,
After picking up my partner's car about a month ago, i am in the middle of the 2300 km trip back home. I am surprised by the noise that my car makes from the front window... has anyone had this?
I made the same trip a month ago and don't remember having had this feeling...
Another thing is that i am with the feeling is that the 6th gear of the Steptronic has a much longer relation than the manual box one. I will confirm this in a couple of days...
I am loving it! They did a software update to put the speach in English so i am loving the perpective and side menu on the nav pro.
