My Ride: Ordered: 530D Touring Silver Gray (A08), Auburn Dakota Leather (LCRK), Maple Wood, Steptronic, Bluetooth, 116 style 17'', Railbars, Sport suspension, Sport stering wheel
I just received my 530D (E61) with all the modifications from week 9 production.
I am posting here some high resolution pics for those who are interested.
1) The ruthenium finish (like silver) is particularly noticeable during the night.
2) The air vents now have a richer feel.
3) My only concern about the glove box lid is: how long will it last? Since there is little space to store things in the E60 I am goimg to use and open it thery often!!
P.S.
Special thanks to all of you who has posted images and helped me decide in my configuration!!

Nice..thanks.
I wonder if the lid can be added as a retrofit?
Sometimes things fall out of that storage area, when I accelerate fast.

The lid is very flimsy and poor quality, in my opinion, but the storage is just the job

The retrofit part numbers for the hinged cover is in the PARTS section of the forum. Bear in mind that only non-US cars can have this covered cubby hole...
