My Ride: 07 E61 530d M-Sport.
LCI cars were built from March 2007 onwards so pretty much all 07 plate cars are LCI. The 6 cylinder engined cars had the engine/gearbox revisions at the same time as the LCI launch. The 520d had most of the LCI revisions in March except the engine and gearbox which was replaced with the 177bhp unit in Sept 07.

My Ride: 2006 520d - 19" 172s- Remapped - LCI taillights V6 cables - LCI xenon headlights - Denison 500 with BTA1500 - led interior lights - OEM led number plate lights
Planned mods:
Folding mirrors - Modmynav kit - High gloss shadowline trim -
Ecotune appear to be well known for a kit which removes the DPF and gives the car a remap.
I think they are about £800 plus fitting. Check out their website.
May be worth speaking to them about the MOT changes but they have commented (under forum name stant1man) on this thread
