GM is importing this stuff very soon to the US...
I think you're misinformed on that point. GM has plenty of (much more solid) Daewoo designs to import. It doesn't need to resort to Chery.

Hey Rudy, you love Alpine White don't you? I love the centre screen, it tells you time AND date! BTW, next time when you park, can you make sure you don't pull in too far ahead, you don't want anyone to damage all the chrome in the front.

You guys are hillarious...Keep up the free entertainment. Here is something the E60 does not have but the Kia Amanti does: Internal emergency trunk release. Now Rudy will feel even safer in his new Amanti.
Have you ever looked inside the E60 trunk? The release is there... (Score: BMW=1 Kia=1)

How many people recieved emails from everyone that knows you drive a 5 series? I think I got about 6 emails from friends by 10am. I said I would rather be in my BMW than a Kia in any type of crash. And the BMW would probably avoid the crash in the first place.

The cassette player is a "priority one" option. It's not something they advertise because they want it to stay exclusive -- kind of like BMW Individual.

Rudy, I keep looking but I sure dont see it. Perhaps I should climb in and close the trunk. If I dont respond in a couple of days please send rescue.

Never mind the Kia - for the specific types of crashes that the IIHS tests were intended to simulate, the results indicate that you would probably be better off in every other car they tested. And it isn't Kia owners who'll find their insurance rates go up as a consequence.

Why would you want an emergency trunk release in the trunk? I dont want it... otherwise my dead bodies might escape!
