what color is the leather surrounding the gear shift assembly in the brochure it shows beige but in my 5er its black.Why?

I have beige interrior and the leather around the gear shifter (it is automatic though) is black as well as the plastic surrounding the base. I am upgrading the shifter to a poplar wood trimed one as well as the back vent faceplate and the front faceplate where the cd and dvd player is.

Mine is a 520i Orient Blau with beige interior and the leather surrounding the gear shift assembly is also beige. For your info I'm from Spain.

Not sure, but they are listed in the forum somwhere and the dealers know the numbers... well they should... When I get the plates I'll repost the numbers if you didn't get them by then.

AFAIK the beige boot is only available with the 6sp manual. Auto and SMG will be black.

Oops, just looked at the US '04 brochure, and shows beige boot for the Manual and auto. Hmmmmmm.
