As for me, I would still buy an E60.

Poll forced me to click a radio button in the middle poll. As I answered yes in the first section, i selected other. BMW 5er for me, with a forum like this you hardly need a manual

What BMWDoug meant was Manual Transmission. Not user manual
Yes, I'd still buy BMW with SMG

I answered yes in the first section and voted for Audi in the middle one. Audi would be my (distant) second choice regardless of the manual vs. auto issue.

Infiniti and Acura are not sold in Europe, so they are irrelevant choices. Lexus is way too Japanese, especially in their interior designs. And Mercedes is for retired senior citizens. I could just imagine the surprised facial expression of friends/relatives if they saw someone of my age (38) buying a Mercedes.

I answered no and other, but in reality I am not sure
I would have considered a cadillac STS very strongly if BMW without manual or cadillac with one
