Great, the same week I got to write uncle sam a fat check, my wife and another car have a little bump in the parking lot. Caught it just a little on the drivers rear corner. This morning she's driving and getting the "Drive control malfunction.... drive moderately" and of course the turn signals no longer cancel. Was thinking I would just pay the shop to touch up the rear bumper and avoid the ins claim, but now am maybe thinking I should get the dealer to write up a full estimate for both the body and the sensor/module issue.

Anybody shed light on this fault for me? I read somewhere about wheel calibration, or it may be impossible to tell if it was actually the sensor or the module.

thanks in advance!

I had my steering angle sensor replaced under warranty and got that same exact message before it went.

Cleared itself yesterday. I figure it will be back.

I get this warning a couple times every winter and my steering wheel goes all wonky, but it always clears itself.
