Idrive stop working!! =[

this morning around 5:30am i turn on my car and waited for my idrive to load,but the screen stayed black. Whats wrong with it? Now im driving without music for 5 days now

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
Sounds like your CCC is fried. G/L

There is a way to reset the idrive.
From memory:
1. Press the DVD, (For SatNav) and CD (For Audio CD) EJECT buttons together for 5 seconds. (Both CD's, (assuming you have CD's in), will eject)
2. Press the Volumne/On Button for a second or so.
3. Wait a few seconds and the screen will re-boot.
From memory, this is what I done some time ago. Hope this helps.

this happened to me a while back, I went to the dealer and they updated my idrive and I never had the issue again.
