This past month i had to jump start my bro's car and while doing that i think we made a mistake and there was a spark on his car like "shorted". Then i started my car and idrive was acting funny and not working.I kept the car off for 15 mins and it worked perfectly then! So its intermitient. But now it starts once in a week its getting worse. I tried to remove and refit some fuses but no use. I removed the radio fuse and refitted it now there is no audio in the car seat belt, etc....
I can hear the cd drive initializing like its trying to start but it cant and a poping noise but after removing and inserting the radio fuse their is no audio.
Is there an easy fix for it without costing me huge amount of $.
Thanks.
I took a video of the issue:

the number one rule when jumping a car, is to make sure that the car with the dead battery, has the ignition off, key off, while connecting the cables. this prevents a voltage surge.
the other, is to make sure you dont reverse the polarity on the cables. lol
not sure what all you could have gotten damaged.
