Idrive not working
fuses are located in back of glovebox, and passenger side of trunk behind carpet. while you're back there, make sure there is no water under your spare tire, as there are some modules there.
there is a fuse behind the ccc unit - you have to remove it completely unplug the big connector..a small blade fuse..
i found this eventually - though my idrive had completely died - nothing was working

before i checked all fuses, i could hear some noise from the idrive... i took it out and the fan was running constantly
i checked all the fuses mentioned and the fan stopped spinning after that....
Dead unit?

Maybe...when mine failed..
the following also stopped working:
Parking Sensors
BlueTooth
Internal beeps for the seatbelt
You could also get to BMW for a diagnosis..though they will more then likley tell you it needs replacing..
i sent mine to revtronic.com (speak to Pops) - they turned it around in 3 days but my unit was burnt out..they sent this back - i sold it on ebay for £50..
found a second hand unit on ebay with the same part number number think it was £380 - worked fine..
