I'm looking for an online (pdf?) manual of how to operate the nav pro (the us version) via the iDrive. What I'd really like to see from it are the capabilities (i.e. the address book operation, whether there's a "save current vehicle position as <named> position" mechanism, etc. I've seen the New_5_Series_iDrive.pdf file, but that doesn't quite have the specific operational detail I'm looking for (at least from what I could tell).

The homepage offers a few PDF files, the third on the list being the complete US Owner's Manual (7.1M...I just opened it up tonite, and it is a 220 page manual with all of the iDrive Menu information and a complete separate section on nothing but the Navigation capabilities, Pages 114-127...hope this helps.

Thanks! I've looked through that, but for some reason, never saw the big huge tab marked navigation. <sound of woodstock slapping his forehead>

It does look like it's the std nav, rather than the nav pro that's in the US, but I assume that the pro is a superset.
