Hello guys,

is it posible to retrofit the Idrive menu button I have an 04 that has 2 on it one says menu the other one is the voice command, but I bought a trim from an 07 and now my Idrive menu button doesnt fit in the hole now its bigger.

 

ok guys here is what I have now.maybe someone can give me some thoughts on this onee



and I think this one is a little bit bigger but don't now if the conections are the same plug and play maybe buying the switch that only has the menu on it will work, also its a little bit bigger any help come on..

Both botten are of the same size ( thats for a fact ) , are you sure that you have fitted the botten right in the trim hole ? , the hole in a 04 and a 07 trim is also of the same size , have you checked out that is not the wirring from the botten ( underneath ) that courses the problem , got stock between the trim and the botten.

thanks for the reply, on my old trim, the switch fits perfect on the new one is small, I believed I have seen in others and the switch has like a little piece that you can barely see alround maybe thats why it fits in the hole perfect, maybe the switch has another plastic attached to it, I will check today with the dealer and see what the difference on the switchs is..
