Hi all,

does anoyone know the differences in Idrive controls from when you have standard CC or advanced CC. On standard you can adjust the centre vent but what additional feature do you get with advanced CC?

Thanks

You are ably to adjust the 'Auto' program, i.e. 'Soft', 'Medium', 'Hard'. Also, the manual control fo choosing the vents is controlled through Idrive.

So there are differences, I thought all idrive options were the same but all the differences in functionality were in the CC units

No, I think that's one of the reasons that it is so expensive/difficult to upgrade.

The advanced CC is also technologically cumbersome. To have to go through on screen menus just to adjust the air temp coming through the vents is just plain silly.

On the LCI, you can press the auto button and the center vent adjustment screen automatically pops up for a short while to make it easy to adjust things...
