Hi guys,
just wonder what is yr E60 idle speed is?
mine is abt 600rpm level, which I felt is way too low for E60 525 (Y2008)
and I felt slight vibration...

How can i tune it up to 750 or 800 level?
thanks in advance

it seems 500~600rpm is normal for all E60 models???
vibration is light, depending on individual, but for me, when I have my drinks on cup holder, it idles with sound.

saw other threads on this issue, and was told not much can be done...
I am surprise our N54 V6 vibrates that much as compare to my previous V6 (Nissan)

my 525 also vibrates at idle. like others if i raise the engine speed to ~800 the vibration goes away. but i also noticed that while idling and i put the clutch in with gear still in neutral the vibration goes away.

i sat in another 525 manual and it too vibrates - though i didn't check if the vibration goes away with clutch in.

seems like a common trait...don't get why it vibrates while my e46 was rock solid at idle. my passengers would always comment on how there is absolutely no noise or vibration at idle. then again i think lexus can make that claim too.

D?j? vu just hit; I would swear this was discussed yesterday.

Anyway, on start-up, mine is 900, but drops to 600 w/o vibration.
