I need a Pinoy nick name. This way when I go to E60 meets I can be the only white guy there and at least have a Pinoy name to introduce myself with. I believe most of this forum is of an Asian persuation. If so, I've earned my stripes by now.

Nok-Su-Kow, maybe?

Woah I just learned a lot about Filipinos, thanks Frank . I have some Filipino friends and grew up in a predominantly Asian city and true story, all of my Filipino friend's moms are nurses. And some of the families have quite a bit of money yet I have no idea what their parents do for a living besides nursing, strange.

Gotta love Sisig (introduced to me at the Gerry's grill meets) woot!

On a side note, Hapas or more specifically mixed Cuacasian and Asians are ... funny thing is that the half Filipino and Caucasian people I know barely look Asian, if at all.

Damn Frank ... I'm Filipino and I didn't even know 3/4 of the stuff you just mention, I should be ashamed of myself.

I do know that Brandon Vera and Mark Munoz of the UFC are both Filipino.

I will tell you why Filipino women are nurses. Its the same reason there are many Indian people who own or operate gas stations, 7-Elevens, why so many Greeks / Italians own restaurants, and why there are so many Polish cleaning ladies, Polish painters, etc. It is because the community is very tight and friends talk to friends, family talks with family, they influence and encourage each other, share knowledge, and it spreads like wildfire. That is why its so important to have a strong sense of pride in your heritage and family.

This is something that America has mainly lost in the past 50 years, sadly.

P.S. - "HowHow" will do just fine. hahahaha
