I used the search facility and discovered that my car had decided to regenerate the DPF, my symptoms were exactly as someone described. I had the cover off the engine panicing something was going to call it a day, but in my better judgement i came in and did a search here. Yep DPF regeneration is what I found, spot on.

You guys \ gals are the best....
