My Ride: F11 535i M-Sport,, Silver, Black Leather, LED Adaptive headlights

From the Bridgestone website.
Potenza RE050 RFT 245/40/10 31Lbs
Potenza RE050 Non RFT 27Lbs.
The RFT is 14.8% heavier.
Might not seem a lot, but ask a racing driver about adding 4lbs unsprung weight to each corner, he would not be amused.
Unsprung weight makes quite a difference to handling.
Now, if you change rims you could well end up with heavier 'corners' but that is not the point, the issue raised was the weight advantage/disadvantage of RFT's.

No that much, there are reviews that they've measured the consumption at 10lt./100km. on 600 km highway driving with 160 km/h average speed, but as always, it depends to the drivers foot

I don't believe to 10 kml : Mini Cooper S (R53) covers less than 9 km with a liter of gas (130 kmh average speed) ... And 6 in the city .
