i ordered a manual transmission luxury car...am I crazy???
It seems that very few would get a manual transmission on a 5 series but I did it anyways. It just seems that I would get bored with an automatic 535i. I have always driven manual and when I drive automatic, I get sleepy. AM I CRAZY??

2007 550i 6-spd----> Premium package, sport package, Logic7, heated everything, Rogue Engineering SSK, CDV removal, hardwire V1 install, aFe cold air intake, Custom Magnaflow exhaust....
Nope....you ain't crazy...I orderedn mine with 6-spd for exactly the same reason. Be prepared to be disappointed with the long throw of the shifter and jerkiness when shifting. Be sure to invest in a short shift kit and a clutch-delay valve and you'll be all set!

Enjoy the car. In consideration of selling a used 535i some years from now, you might get less back in either a trade or sale.

Clearly not crazy. What's crazy is that other high-end car manufacturers don't even offer a manual transmission!
