Swapped my nearly new E60 for a nearly new (6K miles) E46 M3 today

Mixed feelings as I loved the E60 but it was not right for me at the moment (unless an M5)

I really wanted a more sporty car but never thought I could have afforded an M3 but prices have dropped recently for obvious reasons, would never have got a normal 3 as they are so common

Miss the luxury and refinement, but love the sporty free revving M3.

Guess it may have been different if I had got a 550, but that was sadly, way over budget

Thanks for all the advice on getting carbon black, it looked great on collection today - will need a wash tomorrow though :'(

Just happen to be on a track day at the weekend as well, may give it a go

Future posts will be on the correct discussion section so goodbye and thanks for discussions in the past

Am I allowed to still post here on E60 discussion without having an E60 ?, It would help me get over the change

Has your driving style changed already? I bet that M3 is just screaming the whole time to be driven fast!

Good luck keeping your licence and enjoy...!!
