Thank you... Not only do I love the color but I love that there arn't that many E60's with it. I see tons of white's, silver's & black's but have only seen maybe 3 other Amethyst's since I have had my car. I keep going back and forth as to getting a wing or not...

Our colour rocks. You really need to see it live to appreciate it. One would never order it by just looking at the colour samples but in the flesh it's awesome going from grey to plum to cappucino depending on ambient lighting. IMHO it also really needs the chrome highlights to set it off.

Just today I was having a look at my client's car park and all the cars were silver, titanium and grey metallics. Amethyst grey is one of a kind

Is ametyst grey and olivin green available with the M-sports pack over where you guys are? Here in Australia my dealer told me that the colors available for the M pack are limited, hence my choice for the Silver Grey.

its funny that we here in Bangladesh get every possible option as most cars are made to order and very few stay in dealer inventory like say max 5 of each model, so if you dont like the combination you have to made to order which is a 120 days wait. My car was ordered by someone else and it fell through and for some reason no one bought it for few months and I got a really good deal as the dealer already got some payment from previous dealer who didnt buy the car, so i got like 15% off the street price. So I am happy, although its probably still double for what ppl pay for a 550i in US but I am not in the US am I ....lol If I had the option to choose i would have bought silver or this amethyst grey metallic or the alpine white...tough choice....!!!
