My Ride: 2004 Silver BMW 525i, loaded w/o Nav
2007 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer, loaded w/o Nav
OK, I have custom sub enclosure with two 12"s, and two amps, a 4-channel and a 2 channel Alpine. I've wanted to take this stuff to the local professional installers and have a new enclosure built to house the subs in the truck, and possibly upgrade the speakers in the car. Two things are giving me pause.
1.) There's a big sticker on the windshield saying not to add any electronic components to the car.
2.) The factory system sounds pretty good, for a factory system.
Has anyone hear added substantial upgrades to your car's stereo system?
Were there (are there) any nightmares associated with having done so?
