I have the LCI Nav but I put my iPad as the main screen front of the nav screen. I used two Velcro t hold it up and connected the the aux input to the ipad headphone jack.
I now use the ipad for navigation, listen to pandora on the 3G network and surf the web, etc.
I was on the highway yesterday, i was at the far right lane of the highway and a highway patrol car comes zooooooming next to my car and i start thinking like oh shit am i going to get shot at or something lol The way he tried to turn his head back while he was in the middle lane trying to look in to my car. I slowed down for him to see my face but what he really was trying to look at is what the fuck is that big ass screen in the middle of the dashboard. Once realized it wasnt a screen playing back video he just kept going. I was with my fiance at the time and she was just shocked at the fuck was happening. LOL

bmwgroup, from the picture above, you seem to have a bunch of metal things hanging from your steering column. First of all, why would you stick something in your steering column, and secondly, what does it do?

Hey guys,
I’ll try to revive the thread. I have currently a 530d e60 2009 facelift. I have the CCC nav and all bmw services activated by default. I even had a couple of teleservice calls from BMW Germany because I had a fault code after changing the car battery.
When trying to open bmw online it says sim card not inserted.. so for all of you that have enabled the option:
Do you have a sim card inserted?
Where did you put the sim card?
Are you using the oem snapin adapter?
Are you connected theough usb or bluetooth from phone to car?
What phone are you using?
Is a membership to connected drive needed for the serivce to work?
I am trying to identify the way the car connects to the internet... Also have you got a running connected drive app? It would be awsome if I am able to run these options.. so all help will be welcomed.
Thank you!
