Shit I just realized you are from RI... where were you? rt 4? Man... I know how you feel... I am constantly complaining about the idiots in parking lots... 
Also in RI I did not think the town or troopers had laser. the other night we got pulled over the town cop said we were way over the speed limit and all that without a peep from the v1...but he just wrote him a ticket for going 5 over. This was on rt 138 from Jamestown to rt1. We figured we came out ahead on that one. But the cop could have only heard his exhaust and saw him accelerate by a bunch other cars on the highway. Totally a visual but we definitely didn't want to argue.

Pacing is fairly easy to get out of...there is no concrete proof...
When I drive home, the road I take has a limit of 25mph...I always just go 25mph...people always tell me to slow down.....this started happening AFTER I got my exhaust...

Well, for one thing - definitely fight it, he cannot prove you were going 100, "pacing" doesn't count unless he's door handle to door handle with you at 100. One of my friends had this happen a few years ago, cop said he was going 95 because the cop had to go 100 to catch him, the judge asked if it was from a standing start and the cop admitted it was - case dismissed! Even at the speed limit the cop had to go way faster to catch him from a standing start.
