i thought so, glad i have chrome then, funny thing is is a cost option to have no chrome on a bmw, on my poervious car a audi , it was a cost option for chrome,,,, figure that one out

I prefer the shadowline--I feel it makes the car look more sporty. In the US, we get matte finish (not high gloss) shadowline with the sport package.

Sport pack on all but the 545 is matt, or you have to put your hand in your pocket to get it.
It was standard on my 330 again because it was top model. I like it over the matt and chrome, especially on the M sport.

it is a HIGH GLOSS balck trim, no dull black like normal
yes to have non-chrome you have to pay but well worth each cent.
My wife chose the color and all and we saw a 6er w shadowline indiviual high gloss -we took it for our car and will pay for it is awesome very classy but sporty this is way much easier to keep clean and not the opposite as many say. BETTER looking and unique.
