Those cars are cheap to mod and for about $2000, they can be made decently fast.
The 545 is good combination of comfort, sport and speed, but there are plenty of cars that are faster. Spending $40-50K on an american car can easily yield 400-500hp nowadays. I was looking at a magazine and a mustang gt500 with 500bhp can be had for around $40K. I know most of you guys wouldn't even touch this car, but that's great value for the money.

Pull up beside him at the Ritz Carlton and see what happens.

Two weeks ago, I went to a wedding at a ritz carlton that was valet only. This means that the valet would park an e60 right next to a neon or whatever other car that was back there. They certainly weren't parking e60s up front.
I was driving a m3 ZCP though which I asked to park myself. He then directed me to park it up front right next to a porsche.

Well those American cars are really a bang for your bucks if you calculated the $/hp.
I remember I once beat a E46 328i with a Grand AM before the lane close and boy was that guy pissed!
I know, I shouldn't kill a BMW since I am an owner, but it was a rental car and I just got to.

I couldn't believe it. This thing looks like a neon, and off the light it slowly pulled away from me (1/2 length) before I had to slow down (below 100km) to merge in behind him ... I don't know if I can go outside anymore ![Nono](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/nono.gif)
