My Ride: 2005 525 Silver Gray/Black, Step, Premium, Cold, Xeon, 18" wheels
Default

Been busy driving and I already have 300+ miles. Picked it up Thursday. 2005 525 Step, premium, cold, xeons, sat prep, silver gray/black. I love this car!!!

Bluetooth is in the communications imenu, and it paired with my RAZR V3, but I cannot find the pin number. It should be on a white card, but I cannot find the white card anywhere, so I guess no bluetooth till Monday!

Merry Christmas!

Hi Man,
You may not need a PIN number. Works like this, when you PAIR a device the first device suggests a PIN number and you then copy that in to the second device. It is done to ensure that only invited devices can join. Hope this helps to get your BT working over Xmas.
Enjoy it,

When Prompted you can type in any number you like up to 16 digits. They key is that you have to type it in on both the car and phone for security.

We have full pairing instructions Here

I think BMW needs to add a link to this site in the owner's manual!

Man, put you location in your Avatar. Thanks.

The phone book will transfer after some time. The RAZR is supposed to transfer entries from the SIM and the Phone. I can vouch for the phone. Be patient though I have found that it takes some time, 10 minutes or so for the phonebook to transfer for the first time. Then any changes you make transfer within a few minutes.
