Well the weather was perfect when I drove this car, the road feel was great, it was smooth, but not boring, I didnt notice a harsh ride with the run flats, or any noise, maybe because the tires were brand new or maybe because im driving a 2002 540 sport wich has a rough ride. I whipped it around some turns very abruptly, it was glued, the AS and the ARS were flawless. I wanted to take some pictures, but I remembered it when I was back at the dealer. They would have thought I was strange since my car is coming in two weeks, plus I couldnt see any differnces on the outside, and minor in the inside.

My gut feeling is that no one owns that car. Usually some dealers will order one and keep it in the lot or showroom for prospective customers to test drive, gives them more selling power.

I would imagine that if someone orders their car and it comes in then no one can test drive it, only the owner. They don't want to be liable for any accidents :'(

Sounds reasonable. Except for small dealers that don't get many V8 allocations. My dealer, for instance, still has not gotten an allocation of a 550 even with a customer (me) with deposit in hand trying to buy one. My name is on the first allocation with my order filled out. They have several 530's on the lot but no 550 to even test drive. :thumbsdown: I can't recall ever seeing a V8 car on the lot. The only time I get to test the V8 cars is during the drive for cancer deal.
