this i wanted to do as fun and see as to who drives all the time with what screen. I'm sure all of us have our favorite screen settings that we all are comfortable with. for example, having the radio, navigation on the right screen with 800 ft. distance. here is my screen

I leave it on the main menu. If it would save the last screen you use each time you start the car then it might be worth to configure something like that but I don't think it does so then each time you get into the car you've got to setup the screens? Maybe i'm just lazy.

Right screen: Map facing Direction of Travel (Usually 400ft).
Left screen: Navigation, Current Position.

I used to use the same as saurabh with the radio control however I usually listen to the same radio station.

Now after clearing the Disclaimer screen I use the voice command "Navigation" / "Current Location" and there it is.

Maybe next month I'll have something different.

I have it the other way around. Left screen the map facing up north. Right screen arrowview (when navigating) if not navigating I will haveCurrent position there.

Same here

Sometimes I also have the entertainment selected with current position on the right.

Usually:
Left screen map facing north (even when not using nav).
Right screen car data, sometimes arrow (when using nav and having a passenger) or sometimes position (GPS data).

Right side = Current position (always)
Left side = Map facing North or sometimes Map Direction of Travel when using NAV. Maybe if RDS was working I would feel different.

Probably not because BMW is too afraid of getting sued in the "land of the lawyers"..
