My I-drive rebooted itself while I was driving, is this normal?

Has happened to me twice now on my 2005 545i.

Only had the car for 1.5 months.

Should it happen? Probably not. Does it happen yes, about twice a month to me. But its just software that needs a streamlining. Hopefully fixed soon.

Hmmm... I've never seen it happen while driving and I've had mine about 9 months.

There is a bulletin in a previous thread on this problem. I gave my copy to my SA. The bulletin tells the service department how to fix this phenomena, but only in the event an owner complains.
