If you have an issue with your E60 and consult this forum to find out that somebody else has a similar problem (and is happy help and share his experience) the conclusion should not be that the issue is a common one.
Worse, to draw the conclusion from all this that the E60 is a poor car and some other car is a better choice is
We should all be
that this forum provides good advise and help in case of problems and otherwise we should simply enjoy in sharing the experience of driving a very fine automobile.
Well, I wouldn't give up on BMW just because they have electrical problems. I love the driving experience, nothing will ever compare. I don't think you can judge a car with an overall judgement, you need to segment it into different categories, sure BMW have poor electrical systems unlike Toyota and Hondas, but will your Toyota take a curve at 60mph like your BMW will? Will lexus take the same curve? Its just people's preference I guess. My car have been at the dealer for 3 days now, and I have no problem with it, because I know when i get my car back, the joy of driving it is way better than having a problem free car...
Just my opinion. But believe me, when you get your car back, you'll be happier than ever... Please be patient with BMW and their electrical system..
