In the last two weeks my I Drive screen hung up 2 times!!!
I have the nav Pro.
I called my dealer and he told me that was normal!!!!!!!!!!!!
He compared my problem with a windows based computer, when you have to press Ctrl-Alt-Del.

That's how I solved the problem, push simultaneous the 2 eject buttons from the DVD and the CD and the power from the radio. Wait until the screen turns off and then release the buttons.

After that the system reboot and everything works fine.

Somebody else with the same problem?

Mine had frozen happened to me a couple times. It is not normal. A frozen (hung) or crash in software is a very serious problem or issue. Frozen, most of the time would be infinite loop within the software and crash, most of the time would be overwritten other task's stack/memory space. I told dealer when the car was in for oil change. They told me that the new version of firmware would fix that. They upgraded the firmware to some latest version (don't know the version number). So far no frozen.

It is not normal. My car froze and rebooted twice while driving. I mentioned it casually to my dealer and they insisted on checking it out. They looked in the logs and found some faults. They then spent the better part of a day replacing a couple of bits and reloading the software.

It's worth insisting that they check it out.

Cheers.
