Congrats Thommo.. You will enjoy.. Allow yourself some time for the car delivery process, i remember for mine it took around 2 hours, between the paperwork , meeting all the necessary management of the dealership and most importantly the "How to use the Car " , I-Drive etc..

Should also get them to do the initial Bluetooth pairing and show you how thats done.

Also stick your head underneath the front bumpers to ensure they havent grazed it getting it off the trucks etc..

Good selling to the War Office, am sure she will also enjoy as well.. (Just make sure you remind her if she is driving to stay a good 2 feet from those gutters with those 18's.. am sure you know what i mean after your 19's. But i can tell you the replacement Mag is a little dearer on the bimmers.)

Mike.

Congrats on your new ride. Your gonna love it.
BTW what color did you get? Sports Pack?
Sports kit; Professional Nav; Wood Trim; Sunroof; Prof B-Tooth; PDC

SIlver Grey on Black Dakota; 18'' Sports Rims on RFTs

Cheers

Good choice on the Silver Gray and Black Dakota...18" RFT's are canny, heard loads of negs but so far so good, even after driving back from darkest Northumberland in a blizzard...now you remember why you went to Oz.

Enjoy...

Thanks, really excited. Bimmers are so bloody expensive here (compared to my BMWs in the UK) that I'd resisted the urge until lately and the 525 did it for me!!!

Wish I could've gotten a bigger engined model but here in Aus a 2.5 will do nicely sir!!! Mind you, I'm getting out of a tuned 5.7 V8 with 400hp.

Cheers

Thommo

Congrats Thommo on your new fine automobile!

Compared to your old "whatever tuned 5.7 V8" you will now save so much money on gasoline
that you will feel rich.
And the comfort will go up, enjoy!!!

BTW, is a Australian 525i with the 2.5 litre engine or with the US 3.0 L?

PS. A 525iA as mine costs €70,000 overhere (about $114,000 AUD)!
