With a Euro reflector in each hand, I await to wave in my car like an airline employee waiving in an incoming plane to the gate.

It's this last leg of the tour that's killing me! My car is on its way from the VPC to the dealer and the dealer says I should have it next Tuesday or Wednesday. Meanwhile I'm overprepared with checklists, over-read with material from this forum, and more and more impatient.

I need a cure - fast

You are right!

It is the worst part of the wait. I can take the boat part. My wife was ready to kill me.

It is well worth the wait!!!!!!!

I know it's hard, but look at the bright side. You will be driving your car before Christmas! When my car came in, it arrived at the dealer Saturday evening. I knew it was close, so on Sunday I went by and saw the new shipment of cars, including mine. Problem was, that the dealer was closed on Monday and Tuesday because of Mardi Gras, so I had to wait 4 days for the dealer to open before they could prep and deliver my car. That was torture! I can't tell you how many times I drove by in those 4 days...

Damn right! They had my car, and after two months of waiting, I found it very hard to have it sitting there for four days. At least nobody called the cops or had to get a restraining order!

Take the "T" over to the Union Oyster House, have a dozen oysters, bowl of chowda, and a few Sam Adams'.
