Hey everyone,
I have ordered a 535d with the M Sport Package.? I've still doubts about the color.? The problem is that here (in Belgium) you see very little 5series with the M Sport Package.
It will be Carbon Black or Titan Silver.? Can anyone help me decide?

Swweeet color choices mrjames and VDV !!! . I've also narrowed down my choices to these two color yet still can't decide which one. The titan silver is neat and roomier looking but the black is sporty and elegant. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Would any of you guys with the SP happen to know if there is a difference in the floor clearance between the M front spoiler and the standard one. What are the risk of the former getting damaged by the gutter when parking or road humps ? Will the PDC be useful in this situation? Thanks.

Thanks for the welcome folks, I actually read a lot of the forum before ordering the Bimmer. its certainly a great source of research for new car buyers. BTW: I have added another 5-6 photos of the car to the "Rides" Gallery.
Now your question on the the Sports Front spoiler.. Its certainly lower than the std front spoiler. 1. The whole car when you order the sports pack is Lowered by around 15-18mm (i think) and 2. The Front spoiler also is a little bigger and sits lower.
The biggest danger is those "Nasty" tire stops that are too high for the spoiler in car parks.. The PDC doesnt pick them up, you just have to be carefull.
Speed Bumps and gutters are ok, as long as you travel over them slowly and preferably on a angle.. mrj

Thanks mrjames for your confirmation.... now can you please convince my wife to get the SP. Your confirmation validated her point of disapproval. The only card I am left with is SP will demand a higher resale value since it is mostly esthetics. Otherwise I'll be forced to pull out the card under the sleeve... which is " I'm the man of the house" or should I use it right away
It must be the due to the M sports suspension but 15-18 mm is as good as negligible, right?

My Ride: 535D
Too small clearance is one of the the reasons why I ordered my new car with ACS front lip without sport or M suspension. With the current car (sport suspension) I scratched the front underskirt when I nearly missed the highway exit and had to urgently change for the exit lane which was going relatively upwards, so the nose of the car dipping slightly for a moment. that was enough...

Diego Pros, would suggest you go straight to your backup plan and lay the law down !!
My BMW dealer tells me they are currently selling 50% + of their 5's with Sports Packages.. Could try "Everyone is buying one"
I agree 18mm is not much, but in combination with the sports spoiler makes it lower.. Just measured it, at the lowest point of the spoiler it sits 165mm above floor.
Good Luck..
