I took my car in on Dec. 28 to fix the eyebrow issue. They upgraded to 24.01 and this did not fix the problem. They then installed 24.00 which is the version that fixes the eyebrows. This was all noted on my invoice.
24.01 does not fix the eyebrow issue per the service department. Not sure why a newer version doesn't keep prior fixes.
The dealer should not have an issue to do 24.00 since it's their fault that the eyebrows don't work?

There sure is a lot of info on this item on previous posts/topics.
24.00 had the fix for the eyebrows and 24.01 didn't carry over this fix for some reason as stated.
Dealers themselves cannot revert back to a previous version. If they really need/want to - they have to connect the car via terminal to BMW Munich who will manipulate the software directly.
This was the only way currently to fix the problem as advised from my dealer's chief mechanic.
Just wait for the next update..BMW is aware of the bug.

My 07 550 went in for the EYEBROW issue when I get there they tell me ( after showing them several threads from this forum) oh that software update isn't available yet CIP 25.0 is the only fix unless they use old updates to get the eyebrows to work . I gave them an earfull, I made this appointment 10 days ago just for this reason, I told them if the service dept can't find out what's going on with this issue who will. They get all neverous and say they will do their best to fix the issue and call BMW. I told them this car has 1000 miles on it and it's been here three times already for software issues. I'm begining to question why I sold my E55 never had anywhere near as many problems. BTW this is not my first BMW had a 98 528 then a 02 745i which BMW had to buy back because it was in the shop 17 times 45 days. I hope I didn't make a mistake.

My car just went in for service and the famous transmission slam and was upgraded to 24.03.05, I'm hoping that this doesn't affect my amber eyebrow but if it does, I'll be very annoyed.....
