It's turned into a beast after getting a sprint booster in it !!!!!
Absolutely loving it !!!!!!!

Two questions :

1) Why dont BMW have these fit in from the beginning ?
2) What happens if you put two or more sb's in serial ?

I still don't get how this works. I mean, I gather that it will give you the same effect as slamming the pedal to the metal without actually doing so? My question is, so? What's so bad about putting pedal to the metal and save a few hundred bucks instead? Am I missing something?

Does anyone know if adding a sprint booster will influence your service contract?
I've had the thing on for visits ranging from oil changes to Tranny Slam. They had the car for a week of corrections, 4 days to replace a tranny seal. Not one mention of the red wire coming from the pedal

I'm sure if the electronic throttle goes, they'd take a look at the SB and wonder if its causal. But after a year of use with no issues, that would be hard to prove.

It's throttle range enhancement. Less pedal travel is needed to get the car moving throughout the power band (not all starts are full-throttle starts). The car feels much more balanced/powerful from a standing start. It feels like there's much more power available. Without it, much more pedal travel is needed to achieve foward motion. And that creates a feeling of sluggishness off-line with anything other than a full-throttle start.

The response time is improved over stock, making the car accelerate more aggressively and more smoothly too! So yes, you COULD save a couple hundred bucks and mash the accelerator every time, but it would still be slower off the line than a Sprint Boosted car! My suggestion?.....BUY ONE NOW!!
