Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
Well, I just ordered the car and it is being shipped down here to Florida, it's a 2005 BMW 545i with an auto transmission and sport package. Is there anything I should know? Any hints or cool tips for the car?

Well, I will seriously have to restrain myself. I'm
gonna start real slow and just get some window tints first.
But back to the topic...
Any tips on the car? Something I should know about before driving? I heard the air intake was very low and might stall the engine when driving into a puddle but I highly doubt that.

Well, OK, maybe not. I can tell you how to make a step 545i very fast in the 1/4 mile. Check the links linked in my sig--specifically the Straight-Line Performance link. Is your car silver? Maybe you ended up with the "Mind Candy" 545i. If so, lucky you. See sig. Pics of new cars here (see link at top of page for the other car).

So, I guess there are no tips or cool hints for the 545i?
there is a couple things that you should know.
1. Driving the speed limit is impossible
2. 1st and 2nd gear are a lot of fun so get into 3rd as soon as possible if you are driving in M mode
3. buy a radar detector
and finally...
Enjoy your BMW!
