I am curious about something. Most people who are having problem are driving either a 530 or 545i. Any body with a 525 and more than 6 months having problem?
I have a 525 with 7000+ miles going to her 1 yr in nov. and the car feel a bit better than when I drover for the first time out of the dealer.
Again, the only problem i am facing is the 'seat belt warning that comes on the idrive' other than that she is fine.
I wish the best to the rest!

I have the 520i and virtually no problems at all. I've also noticed that the bigger engines give a lot more problems. Maybe it's a coincidence maybe not!!!
Anyway good luck to all

I had the same problem. I purchased Carbaflo lubricant from BMW [$39-$50]
and applied it generously to the felt[not rubber]around the door sills and heavily to
the felt on top of the doors themselves. All gone squeaking! The noise was driving
me nuts so I feel it was well worth the $$. Hope this helps.

Do you suggest I try doing the service bulletin myself with the carbaflo instead of the dealer doing it for a 3rd time?

If I could do all the servicing on my car I would. Few and far between are
the techs who will take the time to get my air pressure just right,or reinstall
a door panel the completely correct way. Do not misunderstand me. By and large
97.5% of the time the job is adequately done.....but it may just be that they are
doing a less than stellar performance with the Carbaflo. Keep in mind this is w/
the assumption that your squeak has the same source as mine did. Good Luck!
