sad news ..today carefully parked car like i always do.. placed carcover on, and proceded to work. for some reason wanted to move my car to a spot where i can see my car not noticing anything at first... i go back into the e.r and start a I.V on a patient, my brother who also works in the er comes into the room where im in the middle of the procedure ... he says " dude.. your car.. " i reply " yeah i moved it and just had it waxed" then he goes ... "DUDE"... COME HERE!" im like oh sh@#$... go out to myh car and see a huge dent on driver side door that extends from the line above the door handle down to the bottom edge of the door and halfway in the middle of the door...so im pissed... of course everyone from work comes out and look... and they just see my face. i know the car that parked near me but dont know who drives it.. but they also tried to "bust style" in parking backwards.. and possibly hit my car... in fact i know it was that car cuz noone else was parked near me but that car... so i need help with a shop around long beach cali... it almost looks like it can be a paintless dent removal procedure ..but anyways i need some advise... will post pics soon... thanks in advance ericd

So what happened? Did the guilty party fess up or are they in denial? It might have helped your situation if the car cover wasn't on. That way your paint would have been transferred onto their car after the hit and their paint onto your car. GL with the repair.

sorry to hear about that man. well as an option i know that mckenna in norwalk offers paintless dent removal. im just not 100% sure for your door because all i kept hearing about was fixing bumpers. you could try though, or ill remember to ask the next time i go there. the guy who does the work his name is bill. he repaired my rear bumper before the last meet at wheel power. if you decide to go you could check with my sa, jesse. good luck with the repairs man.

thanks alpine , vt nope the person didnt fess up but i have a feeling i know who it is... will have to approach her... im hoping that the dent can be a paintless dent removal... i have a appt at 11 am tomorrow with the adjuster i have a 250 deductable so we will see what happens what im afraid of is the matching of the paint if needed.. like the door being darker than the rest.. it would just bugg me... ericd

Sorry to hear that E. Wow from your reaction its a good thing you didnt code j/k. Anyways I know of a place in glendale , but thats a trip for you. They detail, and do minor fixers, paintless dent removals for the Glendale Car dealers when they get a trade in. Good job on the 1 stick. If that was me I woulda started one on myself and had Haldol or Ativan on a continous drip.
