I wear Polarized sunglasses. I drove a Corvette with HUD at night and liked it. Nice feature. Does anyone know if BMW have changed the HUD so that it can be seen through polarized singlasses. I have to wear sun-glasses all the time after a recent surgery.

BMW HUD does not work with polarized glass
Looks like I need to buy a new pair of non-polarized glasses. I like polarized glasses because it makes things crisp and clear.

Nope doesn't work.. You only can see it when you're parked in certain shaded areas

Can?t second this. I?m wearing polarizing Oakley sunglasses for driving and don?t have any problems seeing the HUD (although I don?t know what happens wearing the sunglasses at night ).

I have Oakleys too and bought them as polarized but have no problems viewing the HUD.

I have a pair of Ray-Ban's that are polarized and they work. The HUD image isn't as bright but it's still clearly visabe. If I turn my head then the HUD image will go blank. That said, my next pair of glasses will not be polarized.
