Driving the new car the other day I noticed that the Heads Up Dispay wasn't working............ after the last disaster with my 07 I was starting to get really PO'd ! I was wearing sunglasses and briefly took them off to clean them and off and Voila ! there was the display working perfectly............ I just bought these new sunglasses and now I can't use them driving.......... I remember Rudy mentioning something about this several months back but it never occurred to me until now ............so you might see a nice set of sunglasses in the Classified's soon

It's in the FAQ forum...

Try tilting your head a bit while wearing the sunglasses and see if it comes back a bit.

Or better still.. Just turn on the arrow display on your Nav sceen and dont use the HUD. This way you can keep your glasses on too.

Except that the HUD shows more than just navigation information...

A possible solution may be to purchase NON polarized sunglasses. It's the polarization that causes the display to wash out. I would try to get a pair of non polarized glasses rather than go without. For me, it comes down to safety. I'm betting this solves your problem.

Non-polarized sunglasses work fine with the HUD, but I was not happy that I had to stop using my polarized sunglasses to see the heads up display. Then again, I do love the HUD

I think it has something to do with the verticle vs horizontal polarization orientation, mine obviously have the one that does'nt work................small cost to pay for driving one of these lovely cars
