My HUD shifted down a little a couple of months ago. Now the speed display is 10% blocked and I can see the background amber light on the upper right corner. How do fix it ?

I have tried the height and lopsided adjustment. But bad news. Apparently something (a screw or a clip) inside the HUD unit felt off which caused the display or mirror off the supporting frame. I can see the background light on upper left corner. To replace the HUD unit will cost about $4k. I turned off the HUD (can't turn off the background light though) and have to drive like that for now.

No worries in adjusting it if you wear polorized sunglasses because you won't be seeing it anyway... One would think they would make a HUD that is visible through these type of sunglasses since most are polorized anyway.
