Only IMHO, please do not get upset you HUD owners but HUD to me seems to be a waste of time. I admit I've never driven with it but all the pics I've seen depict it showing very little info such as speed, revs, and direction. But the main reason I don't have it is that the conventional instruments/I drive screen are so user friendly and perfectly placed. If I had of specced it I would have most likely used it a few times for the novelty element like extended voice control. in the UK we spend most of the time in jams, now if it could play porn movies on the screen that would be different!

This is definately NOT a waste of time or money. It is safety relevant, makes driving safer. On your "regular" instruments you have to look down. HUD keeps your eyes on the road. This system is more than just a gadget/toy.

So important to me that I delayed my 6er order by 8-9 months due to delayed availability. I wear trifocals and normal instrument location is difficult for me to find the center focus. HUD allows me to use my larger distance focus to get key info like SPEED. Yes I would like additional info but with Nav, CC and speed I am very pleased and would have spent even more for this option.
